As a Producer, Director, Family man, and passionate advocate for the loving grace of God, Marty Roberts walks a path of creative discovery and revelation. As one of the co-founders of UP2UFilms, launched in 2012, he utilizes over two decades of professional experience for the glorification of God’s kingdom. Creating unique commercials for small to midsize churches, UP2U’s video productions artistically harness the turmoil of life’s journey to shine new light into a dark world, and plant seeds of grace in households across the nation. As the recipient of multiple Telly Awards and Communicator Awards, his high-quality productions speak for themselves.
Having worked in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for over 14 years with companies such as PBS, KTVT (CBS) and WFAA (NBC), Marty possesses unique insight into the world of corporate production. Stepping away from mainstream media, his current work allows him to develop content that speaks to a higher purpose. As the director and producer of the faith-based film, “Running the Bases”, this North Dallas native is an experienced multi-tasker who isn’t afraid to roll up his sleeves and get down to business. He longs to leave a legacy of healing, and draws on his deep spirituality to inspire his work.
When he isn’t spreading the message of change and revelation, he can be found spending time with his loving wife and two children in the Ozarks. He enjoys pinball restoration; finding the beauty hidden beneath layers of rust and neglect.

Johnnie is a Christian family man and native of Southern California, although Texas has been home for 40 years. He currently resides in Houston, TX with his wife Tina, with whom he shares over 35 years of marriage, 3 children and 8 grandchildren. Johnnie’s primary focus is his family. With over 30 years of radio and television background, his accomplishments include hosting Houston’s number 1 rated, award-winning morning show, as well as numerous other successful local and nation-wide radio shows. Johnnie joined Marty Roberts and Jimmy Womble to form UP2UFilms in March 2019 as a partner, producer, and CFO. A collaboration of talent was then assembled that yielded the ability to make their first major motion picture "Running the Bases" a reality. In the process, UP2UFilms not only established itself as a strong Production company, but also became a Distribution company, getting the movie in over 1500 theatres nation-wide. Johnnie believes that God has brought him through this journey, which included his media background for a time such as this, to get the message of God’s love and forgiveness to a world that desperately needs to hear it.
